Teaching and Learning

Louisa has been a teacher in Haringey for 22 years and has held senior posts for 12 of those.

Louisa has led on Inclusion and Assessment and is a Senior Marker for the KS2 English SATs.  Following the lockdown school closures, she worked with the Government’s chosen provider to roll out a National Maths Catch-Up programme for KS2. She has also been involved in working groups/panels for writing national tests and has worked with advisors and senior leaders to peer-assess schools in readiness for Ofsted. Her most recent post is that of Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo at a school in the neighbouring borough of Enfield. She is currently a facilitator at Haringey Education Partnership (HEP) leading training for Early Career Teachers.

Louisa’s Safeguarding and Prevent training is current and regularly reviewed and updated.  She holds a full, current DBS certificate which is searchable on the database.

Louisa’s key aim is to form a good working relationship with children so that they feel confident and able.  Then she can equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to excel and achieve their full potential.

Louisa also has two children of her own.
